The Sheppard Residence designed by Frank Weise in 1950 is one of the finest examples if mid-century modern architecture. It is a similar feeling with the renowned Farnsworth house outside of Chicago by Miese van der Rohe, and the Glass house by Philip Johnson in New Cannan. of developed forces, permits support at almost any point. Under this

constricting formality of the recent past. Space becomes more an
exciting entity that is allowed to exist purely for the pleasure of
experiencing it."
The incredible curving roof of this home is a true one of a kind.
It draws your eye out in every direction and it truly feels as if is
just floating above. The design and fine craftsmanship have resulted in
a very low maintenance roof for the current owners to a level rarely
seen in homes of this period. Light was a careful consideration in
design with morning southeastern light for the bedrooms. All major
